This post is inspired by Wani Ardy, a poetic musician. Hope that this statement will provoke your mind as it did to me and Jeremy.
If you are granted a life full of excitement, will you get tired of it after some time? If excitement can be considered as happiness, does that mean it is not everlasting? will it be gone any time soon? Jeremy argued at first, that love is everlasting, and in my view, it lasts, but not everlasting (Mind you that we are talking about conditional love here). Jeremy argued that love can never fade, and in this part i pointed out that if it everlasting, why do we need to give some effort in keeping it. Why do you need a constant connection with the person that you love in order to stay in love. How many people succumbed to a pit of failed relationship just because he or she is too busy with work, while before this, he or she has been having a beautiful relationship. This is why i said love lasts, not everlasting since you need to put effort to keep it gleaming and shining, and without the effort, it will fade, which is equal of not everlasting.
After all those heated conversation, Jeremy still thinks that conditional love is everlasting, i still stand by my point. Am i pessimist and Jeremy is an optimist? Or i am one of those realist?
P/S: Talking about love, don't u think the classic love and modern love is almost a different entity, albeit sharing the word, love. That will be argued in my next post. Cheers.
